Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Muster at muster.wos.run, why we collect it, and which processors handle it. By using the Service you acknowledge this policy. It covers Muster only — not the official Whiteout Survival game.
Who we are
Muster is operated by Chevy Phillip doing business as ChevyPhillip Tech. Production site: https://muster.wos.run. Privacy contact: chevy@chevyphillip.tech.
Muster is an unofficial companion. We are not Century Games and we do not operate Whiteout Survival. Official game privacy practices are described by Century Games.
Data we collect
We collect the following categories of information.
Information you or your identity provider give us: account name, email address, avatar, and provider user identifiers passed through Clerk when you sign in with Discord, Google, or email; the commander display name you enter; an optional Whiteout Survival state number; Discord server, channel, and authorization identifiers when you connect a bot; and any support messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: pages and product events; approximate location derived from IP address; device and browser information; diagnostic logs; error reports; and, for a sample of sessions, session replay. Cookies and similar storage keep you signed in and help analytics and error tools function.
We do not collect official Whiteout Survival account passwords or official in-game payment card details. We do not sell official game credits, points, or virtual currency, and we do not collect payment data for those items.
Processors we use
These companies process information for us or as independent controllers of their own products. They are the processors that handle Muster data today or as the related Discord bot comes online:
- Clerk — authentication and session management. Account identity, email, and sign-in events.
- Railway PostgreSQL — application database. Commander profile, alliance state number, and future Discord binding and event records.
- Vercel — hosting, request logs, and Vercel Analytics. IP address, user agent, and performance data.
- PostHog — product analytics and exception capture. Usage events, person properties such as email and name when you are signed in, and client or server errors.
- Sentry — error monitoring and session replay. Stack traces, device context, and a sample of session recordings.
- Discord — when you authorize a connection. User, guild, and channel identifiers you grant, used to post alliance event messages you configure.
Each processor has its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control how they operate their platforms beyond our configuration and contracts with them.
How we use data
- Provide, operate, and secure the Service, including keeping you signed in.
- Complete onboarding and show your commander name in the command post.
- Operate Discord bot features you enable, such as posting to a chosen event channel.
- Diagnose errors and understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
- Respond to support requests and protect the Service against abuse.
- Comply with law and enforce these policies.
When we share information
We share information with the processors listed above so they can provide their services. We may also share information if required by law, to protect the Service or other people, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell official game credits or points.
Retention
We keep account and profile records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if we need them for security, backups, or legal reasons. Analytics and error data follow each processor’s retention settings. You may ask us to delete your Muster profile by emailing the contact address below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to the contact address below. We may need to verify the request. Some rights do not apply to every record — for example, information we must keep for security or law.
Cookies and similar technologies
Clerk uses cookies or local storage to keep your session. PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and Sentry may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure usage and diagnose errors. You can block cookies in your browser; sign-in and some diagnostics may then fail or be incomplete.
Security and user compromise
We use reputable processors and standard hosting controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We are not responsible for compromise of your credentials, devices, Discord server, or official game account, or for unauthorized use that follows such a compromise.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
